This Code of Conduct applies to all employees, volunteers, mentors, partners, and community members.<\/p><p><b>1. Our Values<\/b><\/p><p>We act in line with our core principles:<\/p><p><b>Respect &amp; Inclusion<\/b> \u2013 We treat everyone with dignity, regardless of background, identity, or experience.<\/p><p><b>Empowerment<\/b> \u2013 We support each other\u2019s growth, confidence, and opportunities.<\/p><p><b>Integrity<\/b> \u2013 We act honestly, transparently, and responsibly.<\/p><p><b>Gemeenschap<\/b> \u2013 We foster a supportive, collaborative, and safe environment.<\/p><p><b>2. Expected Behaviour<\/b><\/p><p>All members of our community are expected to:<br \/>Treat others with respect, kindness, and professionalism<br \/>Actively contribute to a safe and inclusive environment<br \/>Respect personal boundaries and cultural differences<br \/>Communicate openly and constructively<br \/>Follow applicable laws and organizational policies<br \/>Use Share Network spaces (physical and digital) responsibly<\/p><p><b>3. Unacceptable Behaviour<\/b><\/p><p>The following will not be tolerated:<br \/>Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or intimidation<br \/>Any form of verbal, physical, or sexual misconduct<br \/>Abuse of power, position, or trust<br \/>Retaliation against individuals who raise concerns<br \/>Sharing confidential information without consent<br \/>Any behaviour that undermines the safety or wellbeing of others<\/p><p><b>4. Safeguarding &amp; Wellbeing<\/b><\/p><p>We prioritize the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our network, especially individuals from vulnerable or underrepresented backgrounds. Everyone shares responsibility for maintaining a safe environment.<\/p><p>If you witness or experience inappropriate behaviour, we encourage you to speak up.<\/p><p>If you experience an issue with another person, we encourage you\u2014where possible and safe to first address it directly with them in a respectful and constructive manner. Open communication often helps resolve misunderstandings early.<\/p><p>If this is not possible, or if the issue continues, you can reach out to the board or our vertrouwenspersoon, Femke Kessler, for support and guidance.<\/p><p><b>5. Reporting &amp; Accountability<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Concerns can be reported to the vertrouwenspersoon or leadership<\/li><li>Reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly<\/li><li>Appropriate action will be taken where necessary<\/li><li>Breaches of this Code may result in removal from programs, partnerships, or roles<\/li><\/ul><p><b>7.
